Who We Are.

Hi I’m Natalie.

I am a freelance designer specialising in bathrooms, space planning and project management. I formed Natalie Nicholson Design in 2021 after 9 years in the industry and a desire to work directly for my clients.

Now based in Sheffield, I have managed and worked in a number of high end showrooms including spending a year at a bespoke showroom in Sydney, Australia. I have worked with many prestigious brands such as Villeroy & Boch, Duravit, Gessi, Hansgrohe and Perrin & Rowe.

In recent years I have seen a vast change in how people carry out home renovation projects, with many people now looking for a more creative design and taking inspiration from sites such as Pinterest and Instagram. By working independently I am able to offer a fully bespoke service tailored specifically to your needs providing unbiased advice and no restraints on working with specific brands.

I am hugely passionate about architectural design and all aspects of home interiors. Having fully renovated 3 of my own houses this pushed me even more to adapt my experience into other areas of the home. I carefully consider functional elements as well as aesthetics, because lets face it we all want a room to look nice but it has to be practical too!

I work with both homeowners and professionals including architects, property developers, interior designers and installers. In addition I offer a freelance design service for bathroom retailers wishing to outsource their design work.
